Getting rid of stuff in Switzerland is harder than you'd think.

You can't just put a sofa on the curb. Swiss waste disposal is strictly regulated. Sperrgut requires 2-3 weeks advance booking. Recycling centers have limited hours. And then there's the physical challenge: carrying an 80kg wardrobe down 3 flights of stairs.
